HELSINKI, Finland, May 12, 2026Coolbrook, a transformational technology company dedicated to decarbonising heavy industry and industrial processes, has appointed Dr Frank Eulitz as Chief Technology Officer. Eulitz joins the leadership team to spearhead the technological development and manufacturing of Coolbrook’s RotoDynamic Technology™. Dr Eulitz brings more than 30 years of experience across industrial R&D, turbomachinery, and academic research. His appointment comes at a pivotal time for Coolbrook as it transitions from successful pilot testing to the ongoing full-scale industrial deployment of its RotoDynamic Heater™ technology.

Throughout his career, Dr Eulitz has led large engineering teams and driven the development of complex, advanced technologies. Most recently, he served as Professor and Head of the Turbomachinery & Propulsion Department at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at Siemens Energy and MAN Energy Solutions, where he oversaw global teams of engineers and led the development of advanced gas turbine technologies.

His deep expertise in turbomachinery, aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, and high-temperature industrial processes will be instrumental in refining Coolbrook’s electrification technology. Coolbrook’s RotoDynamic Technology™ aims to eliminate fossil fuels from energy-intensive sectors like steel, cement, petrochemicals, and chemicals by using renewable electricity to generate process heat of up to 1700°C.

Joonas Rauramo, CEO of Coolbrook, said: “As Coolbrook moves into the commercial deployment phase, Frank’s level of technical authority and leadership experience is transformative. His proven track record in scaling breakthrough turbomachinery technologies at some of the world’s leading turbomachinery OEMs will ensure our technology meets the highest standards of reliability, efficiency, and scalability as we begin delivering units to our industrial customers globally.”

Talking about his appointment, Dr Frank Eulitz, CTO of Coolbrook, said: “Having spent my career at the forefront of turbomachinery innovation, I am incredibly impressed by how Coolbrook has applied these principles to solve the hardest challenge in the energy transition: industrial decarbonization. I am looking forward to bringing my decades of R&D and industrial experience to a technology that can truly move the needle on reducing global CO2 emissions. My key focus will be to ensure our technology reflects the highest standards in turbomachinery best practices, supported by world-class engineering processes as we move into high volume commercial production.”

About Coolbrook:

Hailed as the key technology for industrial decarbonisation globally, Coolbrook is a transformational technology and engineering company on a mission to decarbonise major industrial sectors like petrochemicals and chemicals, iron and steel, and cement. Coolbrook’s revolutionary rotating technology combines space science, turbomachinery and chemical engineering to replace the burning of fossil fuels across all major industrial sectors. The technology has two main applications: RotoDynamic Reactor™ (RDR™) to reach 100% CO2 free olefin production, and RotoDynamic Heater™ (RDH™) to provide carbon-free process heating to iron and steel, cement and chemicals production. Once implemented at scale, the RotoDynamic Technology has the potential to reach temperatures of 1700°C and cut 2.4 billion tonnes (30%) of annual CO2 emissions in heavy industry.
